Embody Dance Collective is a dance training and performance company based in Thunder Bay, ON. dedicated to empowering adult dancers through performance, community, and creativity. Founded with a passion for expression and inclusivity, Embody offers a range of classes and performance opportunities in styles such as heels, jazz, hip hop, burlesque and jazz funk. Whether you’re returning to dance or stepping on stage for the first time, Embody is a space to train, connect, and grow as a dancer.

About Embody

Founded in 2024, Embody Dance Collective has grown into a vibrant community for adult dancers in Thunder Bay. From drop-in classes to full-scale performance programs, Embody has brought together dancers of all levels to train, perform, and build lasting connections. Everyone is welcome, no matter your background or experience, there’s a place for you at Embody. We'd love to have you join our community! Our Team

At Embody Dance Collective, our team is made up of passionate, multi-disciplinary artists who are dedicated to creating a space that feels both inspiring and inclusive. Each instructor brings their own unique style, training, and creative voice. Spanning hip hop, heels, burlesque, Broadway jazz, and more while sharing a common goal: to help dancers grow in both skill and confidence.

Beyond choreography, our team is committed to fostering a supportive community where dancers feel seen, challenged, and celebrated. Many of our instructors have grown within Embody themselves, evolving from students to assistants to leaders, which creates a strong sense of connection and authenticity in everything we do.
